About the Position

KCTV5 and Gray Digital Media KC are seeking a motivated, results-driven Media Executive to join their Kansas City sales team.

The Media Executive will develop new business, maintain and grow existing accounts, and design customized television and digital advertising solutions. Products include programmatic advertising, streaming, email marketing, social media, search engine marketing (SEM), and search engine optimization (SEO).

This position also includes selling sponsorship opportunities and lifestyle segments on KCTV5's daily lifestyle show, My KC Live.

Responsibilities

Consult with business owners, marketing executives, directors, and managers to develop effective advertising and digital marketing strategies.

Meet or exceed sales goals through new business development and account growth.

Build, maintain, and strengthen client relationships.

Create and present television and digital advertising proposals.

Develop expertise in Gray Digital Media's advertising products and services.

Collaborate effectively with internal teams, corporate digital media teams, and clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with two or more years of digital media sales experience preferred, or a proven sales track record.

Strong sales, prospecting, networking, and relationship-building abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work across teams.

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is a plus.

Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
